With your help, we successfully made and donated over
FREE reusable face masks!
How we did it...
We had been doing our research on reusable masks for years now and knew that the use of 3-layer reusable cotton face coverings to be worn by civilians, significantly helps to stop the spread of airborne diseases. Just days before the first lockdown, we started our Covid Mask Initiative and began to source materials and local help to make reusable masks, and deliver them to those who need them most. All donations went towards buying mask-making materials and supporting the small, local businesses who supply us.
Our donated face-coverings have been used by local* medical centres, care-homes, the vulnerable, elderly and carers. We are incredibly thankful to all the local tailors/seamstresses, delivery drivers and those who donated funds and fabric to us these past months - Your selfless actions have helped hundreds.
